I am a Medical Doctor, specializing in Plastic Surgery. I am based in Manchester, U.K.

Art is my hobby, and my practice spans various disciplines of art with a particular emphasis on sculpture.

As a surgeon, the beauty, complexities, mysteries, fallacies and imperfection of the world -- in particular of the human body --never fail to inspire me. I try to explore these facets in my sculptures and on the canvas.

My process begins with deep engagement and study of the subject, to allow their hidden qualities and forms to reveal themselves to me.

I don't merely try to capture the subject's image in my work -- I try to infuse life into the work, in order to depict my subject's essence in its entirety.
